Born and raised within 10 miles of her current residence within the Salt Lake valley, Scotty has always had an affinity for art in any shape or form. As the youngest of five girls born to two grizzly bears, she was discovered to be half-feral and had a special bond with animals; that love grew with her, showing in her work. It wasn't until the age of 23 that she discovered she wasn't merely a serial-hobbyist, but could chalk that up as being a symptom of ADHD. And speaking of chalk, have you checked out her entries in chalk art competitions? If you haven't already, you need to head that way.

When on a phone call with her mother, Scotty discovered that she was, in fact, the favourite daughter (and remains uncontested to this day; sorry-not-sorry, 4 older sisters).

Scotty enjoys putting seeds into dirt; it doesn't always work out, but she enjoys doing it anyway. She owns way more succulents than she really ought, and is always diligent in making sure that the plants she acquires won't harm any of her animals. Her five pets (two dogs, two cats, and one untamed husband) need her to protect them from the dangerous outside world.

This little bean in a big pot of chili specialises in acrylic and watercolour painting, but is always experimenting in new mediums.
